I just received my new "HOT PINK" case for my brand new pink acer aspire. I have the 6 cell battery and it fits nicely. The front pocket holds the battery cords. I had been looking everywhere for a girly case for my pink mini laptop. I suppose I could've gotten the llght pink one but I decided to go over the top, and glad I did. This case is perfect for anyone who loves pink! I gotta laugh everytime I look at it. These just became available Mar 6th!

I had to return two briefcases to Best Buy because one was too large and one was too small. 15.4" cases do NOT work with a 16 inch laptop. A 17 inch is way too big. This case was perfect and it included free shipping. There is one other Caselogic 16" product, but you have to pay over $8 to have it shipped because it comes directly from the company. That is the zncF model (full size). So if you need the extra space you should get it. But this slimline (zncS) version holds a lot of stuff too.

I say this case is good and looks great. This case fits the kindle 2.0 perfectly the cons are fits pefectly no room for extra stuff even though it has a inside pocket. Zipper is hard to pull around edges hopefully with time it loosen up. Another plus is you can lock zippers with a little lock. A major plus is the memory foam which is good protection for my kindle 2.0

Overall this is a nice accessory bag for my laptop/mobile phone accessories. It made travelling a whole lot easier as I wasn't looking for cords and plugs, etc. The only downside is the compartments inside of the bag. The bag is divided evenly; it would be nicer if there were one or two compartments within the bag were slightly larger. I would buy it again though.

I needed a place to keep all the accessories and my laptop together and this seemed like a good solution. Let me just say though that it is very difficult to get my 15.4' Dell in and out of.. It is tight! I found that if I put my laptop into the sleeve I bought it is easier to get out, I don't know why since it adds to its thickness but I think makes it smoother to pull out. The handle is right in the way of trying to pull the laptop out and makes it difficult. I also think that this is way over priced and only bought this with a special offer and rebate otherwise I can't imagine paying the 50-70$ prices I have seen online. I like having everything together and next to my chair and it does have three seperate compartments to keep things, laptop, small comp. and med. comp., which are tight to and if you squeeze to much into take up more laptop space because the walls are flexable.. I like it and would buy it again (for a deal) and think its a good idea if it's what you need, but has a few issues I thought maybe you'd like to know.

Purchased this for my 8.9" netbook and I must say that I'm very pleased with this product. It fits my netbook to a tee including the battery and I don't think it will fit anything larger than that. It's so stylish and looks like a briefcase that no one would suspect that you have a computer in it. I love it because I can just throw my netbook in there and it acts as a cushioned sleeve in my bag when travelling. or just carry it around as is. Great product, great price!

My title pretty much says it all, I got this case a few days ago and absolutely LOVE it's design and the fact that it fits a 17" widescreen notebook without having to cram the laptop into the case! The velcro insert can be moved to make more space to accommodate the larger laptops. I love the seperate mesh zippered pouch for the power pac, it has lots of built in pouches and mesh pockets for cell phone, mp3 player, chargers and holds 5 cds or dvd's, has another zippered file folder for papers or books, another large compartment under the flap for pens and storage and then two more compartments on each side of the outer sides. I transferred everything from my overstuffed old bag to this case and you would think with all of those compartments it would be bulky and hard to handle, but nothing could be farther from the truth. Even with a 17" notebook everything is so compact and well organized it's still easy to carry and maneuver. This is a great "take on the plane" case because it fits easily under the seat. So durable and well made, Targus is now my laptop bag and case of choice. Definetly worth the price with the free super shipping!

Pros
-Stylish, the red is a killer color. Matches my blackberry =)
-Apple logo still visible thru the case.
-feels incredible just like satin.
-Great protection. I use this and a sleeve. Yes it's thin in enough to still fit in sleeves

Cons
-incredibly difficult to install and remove. More difficult to remove though. I get scared every time i remove it that it will snap. It holds onto my mac by these tin tabs, that are difficult to pry off

-does collect dust and grimy fingerprints. But i wipe mine down daily so it's not a big deal

-may actually scratch your macbook if not cleaned regularly. If your pretty active with your macbook i suggest taking it off every 2 weeks to remove particles that get caught in between the speck case and your macbook because friction can cause those particles to scratch your computer which has happened to people before. but i had mine for a month and i cleaned it today and my mac is still looks as pristine as it did when i unboxed it.

This is a transparent, hard-shell case for the newer [late 2008] MacBook 13" Aluminum Unibody, with black keyboard and no firewire, not the older white plastic model with removeable keyboard, and with firewire. This case is currently available in clear, pink, red, aqua, green, hazard orange, and purple; but there is also a translucent, 'satin soft-touch' version, available in black, purple, cranberry, pink and yellow. Most are hard to find.

The fit is perfect and snug, and removal is fairly simple. No overheating issues, all ports are accessible, and the MacBook opens as far as I ever opened it before.

The only complaint I've seen elsewhere is that dirt gets under the case and can scratch the MacBook. The instructions recommend removing the case and cleaning the MacBook with the included cloth at regular intervals to avoid this [as well as before installing the first time]. I've only had mine a few weeks, so haven't done that yet, but there is no dirt visible under my case.

Overall, I'm totally pleased with how well it fits and seems like part of the unit. I forget it's even there, and a few folks have commented about not knowing that Apple came out with new notebooks in colors!

I purchased a Sony P, the extended battery and this case. The case is designed to fit the Sony P series computers with either the regular or the extended battery. The accessory case is nice for the power adapter, extra battery or other small things that you want to carry.

In my opinion, it was slightly too loose. I think I would have preferred something slightly more snug. This is the only major flaw I saw in it. I wouldn't say that it was so loose that the computer slides around when it is in the case, but there is a bit of give to it. I certainly would not consider it too loose to cause a problem or worry.

Due to the physical dimensions of the Sony P series, it is currently more difficult to find cases that are designed to fit this computer. As such, your options may be limited. Considering that this is made by Sony... a company not known for being inexpensive, it is a pretty affordable solution. And taking the price into consideration, it is easier to over look that it not snug enough.

Finally for all you travelers, when I went through the TSA security at 4 different airports, no one asked me to take it the computer out of this case. It adheres to the checkpoint friendly design standards.

I needed a case to fit my Sony Vaio AW (18.5 inches) laptop. At first I thought this case was too big (it is meant to hold 20 inch laptops), but after using it a couple times, the size doesn't bother me at all...it's actually preferred. It's wide enough in which I've fit my 17inch dell laptop and 18.5 inch sony laptop in the case at the same time! So with the extra width what else do I use it for....I can fit in binders, lots of documents, or a jacket, and all sorts of things. It's spacious enough in which I can throw everything inside quickly when I'm in a rush... there's always extra space :)

For traveling I can rely on this as my carry on bag instead of holding both a laptop bag and a backpack or suitcase.

If there was an 18.5 inch version of this bag would I buy it over the 20 inch? I actually would go with 20 inch.

I guess once you've entered the 18.5 inch realm, the difference between an 18.5 inch bag and 20 inch bag is minimal....it's a big freakin' bag either way!

My only dislike is the bag won't stay upright when placed on the floor. I assume to accomplish this it would require reinforcements that could lead to a heavier bag...so I'll take the lighter weight bag and deal with it always needing to be leaned up against something or laid flat.

The case is definitely great quality too. I would recommend this to anyone who is in the market for a 18.5 inch laptop or larger.

I purchased this for my 8'9 inch netbook. With anything in the little pockets, it was an impossible fit so you would still need another bag or case to carry around your other netbook supplies like AC cord or travel mouse. I would also be afraid to carry my netbook around like that although it would be perfect as a sleeve to protect your netbook inside of a bag or briefcase. Unfortunately, I had to send this product back.

Recently got the Targus zip thru. Used it on a casual business trip. Convenient as I did not have to unzip my laptop to go thru security.

One side of bag is for laptop: I have a heavy 17' HP laptop; fits well; there's strap and padding in bag to hold laptop and prevent damage.

Other side of bag is for other stuff: There's enough room for wires, rechargers, books, and whatever you want to stuff. I'm a light traveller so the amount of room was more than enough.

It's lightweight; especially good for heavy 17' laptops. The shoulder strap was OK (could have been longer) and fairly comfortable (could use more padding); it may be difficult on bigger people to strap across the opposite shoulder. I did not have any problems with shoulder pain. The hand carry is made of leather and very comfortable. The bottom had rubber stops to prevent sliding.

In terms of durability, the bag was well made and appears sturdy, but I've only had it for about a month.

Drawbacks: If you want wheels or want to look ultra-professional (e.g. high fashion or leather), this is not the bag.

Case is very well made, and includes a pull-out briefcase with its own handle. This case accomodates a 15.4 inch laptop, and the entire briefcase nests in the rolling case. If you remove the briefcase, that space becomes a holder for a 17" laptop. strong handles and an easy roller, with a large back pocket that opens at 90 degrees -- perfect for a short business trip's worth of clothes.

Better quality than equivalent Targus products (which I previously used for my 17" laptop, until the pull handle failed after a couple of years).
