I got my Kindle on May 2nd and was frustrated with the original cover - so I ordered this leather cover and it is indeed superior to the original Kindle cover. There is an issue with the M-Edge cover possibly staining your clean white Kindle (if you ordered black).
To keep this from happening to you, you can use the foam insert that comes with the cover when you close up the Kindle. This double protects the entire device and will prevent stains from occurring on the edges or surface.
If you do encounter a stain, use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, with just a TINY DAB of water at the edge. Hope this is helpful!
